Our partners are the heart of the Free Rivers Fund—they make our work possible. Around two-thirds of the funds we distribute as grants come from partnerships within the paddling industry. By supporting us, they take responsibility and actively contribute to the protection of our rivers—both as vital ecosystems and as places of adventure.

The Free Rivers Fund channels all donations into two key areas: providing grants and expertise to small grassroots river conservation projects, and encouraging the paddling community to take action for rivers themselves.
